National days of service are great opportunities for first time volunteers, individuals, groups, families and friends to get together and support our community. The Volunteer Center is already in the process of planning the next two major days of service. Don't forget to mark your calendars now and then sign up for a volunteer opportunity.
Saturday, September 10 - 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance
Saturday, October 22 - Make a Difference Day
If an organization you volunteer for would like to partner with the Volunteer Center to offer a service project for either day of service have them email Volunteer@uwsn.org with their ideas and contact information.
Businesses that are interested in sponsoring an event should contact Robin Kelley at RobinK@uwsn.org to determine what level of sponsorship would be right for their business.
