This was my second KLAS 8 on Your Side Help Fair and this one was just as great as the last one. The set-up went so smoothly it was as if we had done this before! I kid, I kid. We got lunch and boy was it yummy. I think I had at least six cookies. The event started off and a couple hundred attendees showed up. They were able to get information and assistance from organizations like Southern Nevada Health District, NV Energy, United Labor Agency of Nevada, Consumer Credit Counseling, Nevada 2-1-1, and many more agencies. There were a lot of great volunteers helping out at the event also. From United Way staff, to AmeriCorps members, to NV Energy, and Valley Hospital everyone worked really hard to ensure the event went off without a hitch .If you didn’t come to this fair, be sure to come and check out the next one!
