I AM EQUAL photo world tour
Greetings from MGM Resorts International! I’d like to invite you and your clients to a special “I AM EQUAL” public photo shoot taking place at New York-New York.
The “I AM EQUAL” photo world tour is taking international photographer Matt Spencer to more than 175 cities to capture over 125,000 individual images of everyday people stepping up in support of human rights and equality. Ultimately, these photos will be compiled into a world record-breaking photo mosaic and essay (http://photos.iamequalproject.org).
MGM Resorts is pleased to partner with the Project to bring you this event.
The “I AM EQUAL” world tour will conduct a local photo shoot at New York-New York’s Park Terrace meeting room on Saturday, Feb. 19, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Please join us, and bring your friends and family. Children accompanied by an adult will be admitted.
When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out a registration form, and then assisted with applying a temporary “I AM EQUAL” tattoo to the palm of your hand. Please show the tattoo while your photo is taken. Your photo will be e-mailed to you, and you are welcome to use the photo in any way that you wish, to make your personal statement in support of human rights. Many participants post their photos on Facebook and Twitter. There is no fee charged.
The “I AM EQUAL” Project represents a global vision to change the world, and that vision truly starts with you, the individual.
Some people will take a stand for civil rights, while others will use their photo to express their support of protecting children. Some will make a statement for women's rights, gay and lesbian rights, or to end human trafficking. All of us share the passion to help make the world a better place.
MGM Resorts strongly supports human rights and the end to human rights abuses. Through our Company’s award-winning Diversity Initiative, MGM Resorts proactively promotes equality among our 61,000 employees and an appreciation for employees and guests who come from all walks of life.
No advance registration is required. For more information, visit http://www.iamequalproject.org.
I hope to see you at New York-New York on Feb. 19!
Sincerely,
Jocelyn Bluitt-Fisher
Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Community Affairs
