United Way of Southern Nevada staff celebrated the organization's internationally-recognized Day of Action by hosting a company diaper drive to benefit United Labor Agency of Nevada (ULAN) at its office on Tuesday, June 21. As a result of the employees' generosity, United Way of Southern Nevada collected 1,982 diapers and 3,640 baby wipes. All items collected from the day long drive will benefit United Labor Agency of Nevada's baby closet.
ULAN is a community services agency that assists families and individuals who need support as a result of an unexpected crisis. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for the community through providing direct services and access to services to meet immediate needs and help with long term financial stability.
