Serving Southern Nevada since 1990 and located in historic Downtown Las Vegas, Lied Discovery Children's Museum features over 100 hands-on exhibits in the arts, sciences, nature, music and humanities, traveling exhibition galleries, an early childhood pavilion and an eight-story science tower! The mission of the Lied Discovery Children's Museum is to provide a vibrant and engaging environment, through exhibits and programs, where children and families from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds actively participate in playful learning environments!

Lied Discovery Children's Museum has upcoming opportunities for volunteers in June and July. Whether you are a high school student between the ages of 14-17 looking for enrichment, or an adult with some extra time on your hands there is always plenty to do! Opportunity Village is dedicated to helping people with severe intellectual and related disabilities become the very best they can be. Through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, people with severe disabilities are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration and unleash creative passions. Are you a Clerical Whiz with a positive personality and a keen eye for detail? If so then Opportunity Village could use your skills to complete various office duties. If you are more of a Social Butterfly, you could also use your dazzling demeanor to socialize and mentor clients during their recreational activities.
